BIO ET BIBLIOGRAPHIE DE RICK BASS

Né en 1958 au Texas, Rick Bass a grandi à Houston, avant de faire des études de biologie et de géologie à l'Université d'Etat de l'Utah. Il travaille ensuite pendant plusieurs années dans le Mississippi comme géologue spécialisé dans les gisements de pétrole et de gaz, ainsi qu'en témoigne son livre Oil Notes (1989). Il est l'auteur d'une dizaine de livres de fiction, dont les recueils de nouvelles intitulés The Watch et In the Loyal Mountains. Le Sud profond et le Montana constituent les décors privilégiés de ses fictions. Rick Bass vit aujourd'hui avec sa famille dans une vallée sauvage du Montana.
